System requirements
The system will comprise of two Android devices (D1 and D2), and a remote server(Sr).
Device1 (D1) will communicate with Device D2 via Bluetooth.
Device2 (D2) will communicate with the server (Sr) on a G3 connection or via the Internet.
D1 will have a database containing a number of records and these will be displayed as a list on the screen. A user on D1 will be able to select 2 of these and click on an “SEND” button on the terminal.
When the “SEND” button is clicked device D1 sends a message to D2 via Bluetooth. The message will contain ID numbers of the selection the user made on D1. D2 receives the message and alerts user on D2 through a bipping tone. User on D2 enters his or her PIN and clicks the “Accept” button. On clicking this button, D2 sends a querry message to Sr.
At Sr the following will take place:
The server will check D2 user account (stored in a database on the server) status for validity.
If valid the server will update the acc by a certain value and send an accValid message back to D2.
The server will then revert to listening mode to await new messages.
When D2 receives the accValid message from the server, it will perform a number of things.
